We had a city view room and it was amazing - genuinely probably one of the best views the city has to offer for a more than acceptable price! The rooftop bar never fails to impress, so even if you don’t have a city view room, you can still get a more private experience of the city from above. I’ve stayed here 3 times now, and every time I’m blown away by the location - 15min walk to the Empire State Building, 20-25min to the Rockerfeller Centre, 10min walk to Times Square, 1min to Subway (1 Line) which is direct to Downtown/WTC and also Uptown/Times Square if needed, good affordable food places in the area (McDonald’s, Andiamo’s Pizza, Emperor Dumpling, 7-11) The entire area of midtown feels incredibly safe and I have never felt uncomfortable - nice patio area outside of the hotel, friendly staff, comfiest beds and pillows, always very clean, room service/cleaning is well explained and I really appreciate that you’re never pestered. The Cambria is the only hotel I consider when coming to NYC!

The staff were wonderful!! They were very helpful, friendly and professional!! They went out of the way to make sure our questions were answered - like which subway to take and how to get there!! The rooms were very nice- beds very comfortable and very clean rooms. Loved that the rooms had queen size beds where as many other hotels just have the full size! We loved the location- close to everything and within a quick walking distance to many things including subway stations! Loved the area that the hotel is located... it's like you walk out into the middle of a floral village so aesthetically, it was beautiful!! This is our first time staying here and we will definitely stay again when we come back to NYC!! Thank you for everything! We love that the hotel had a rooftop bar area however we never did end up going up there because our itinerary was already quite full... but it's just another reason to come back and stay at the Cambria!

For NYC a large room with good storage space. A nice small hotel with outside backyard as well as outdoor area in front and on the rooftop at 19 floor with a nice view. A little bar and convenience store. Free coffee/tea in the morning in the bar. The street is indeed the "flower street" with a lot of nice flower shops and some small hotels. Very quite (we had a room to the back and heard absolutely nothing in the nights from the streets). A convenient subway station at the corner of the street, very easy to get around (nowadays, you can just tap your mobile phone to get ticket to the subway - very easy). Penn Station with trains to the airport is just 5-7 min. walk away, also very convenient. Nice with secure luggage storage at arrival and departure.

Room had a king size bed, couch, desk area, and cabinet closet with enough room to hang our clothes and shelf in it as well , also had another cabinet with drawers. Bathroom was large enough for 1 person at a time which is expected for NYC and the standup shower was nice, overall a nice room that was larger than I expected for NYC. Location is great as it's half a block from a subway station (2 stops to Times square from this station), is a few blocks from the high line, Chelsea Market, Hudson Yards, and overall the Chelsea area is a great area to stay (it's in the flower district so there are probably 8-10 flower shops all around it on this block). Rooftop bar wasn't really busy but it is a great place to relax on the couches or at one of the tables.

Paul

The staff hotel are exceptional, they're always smiling and cannot do enough to help. Sunam, Angel, Chelsea, Jonathan and Alex, thank you so much, you made our trip that extra bit special and always had time to give us directions and advice on the best places to eat and visit. The beds are so comfortable, and the place is spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful and this hotel provided everything we needed. There's an outdoor area to sit in, and we loved the fact that the hotel was in the heart of the flower and plant shops. Each morning, we came out to flowers and plants lining the street. The subway was also quite close to the hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel for comfort and ease of access to most places.
